Baby boys jackets, the insulated winter kind, are somewhat hard to find for babies under a year. Once baby gets to the more mobile stage, 18 months - 24 months, we start to see more options for jackets. Spring and fall jackets as well as denim jackets are readily available in sizes for 2 year olds. We don't get quite as many insulated winter jackets in. Most people seem to prefer the one-piece snowsuits for their baby winter outerwear. Many makers put draw strings in their hoods. These can be a hazard to small children. If the baby winter jacket has a drawstring in the hood we suggest removing entirely or cut it in such a way that if it ever was snagged the string would easily break free.
