$4.99 is below our actual cost of shipping. Whether you use standard surface mail or rush shipping by courier you will never be charged a shipping rate above the actual cost!

Typical Delivery Times

Our $4.99 flat rate on surface mail shipping is most ideal for patient folks who appreciate a most economical shipping option and don't have a critical deadline for receiving their package.

Once your payment is received your package is shipped at the next available mail pickup time (daily, 9AM EST). The postal service states that from this point the package may take 10-21 days to arrive at its destination, however, we have surveyed hundreds of our customers to learn about the actual shipping times to various locations. We have determined that regardless of their location, 10-15% of our customers are receiving their packages within 7-8 days, 75% are within 8-14 days and only 10-15% take any longer. None have taken longer than 21 days and no customers have reported that their package never arrived.

Despite those stats if you have a deadline within 3 weeks we strongly recommend considering Rush Shipping. It often doesn't cost a lot more than standard shipping and it can give tremendous peace of mind when those items are needed for an important date!

"Help! My son has a Boy Scout camp this weekend so he must have his uniform before he leaves. Can you help?"

We get questions like this all the time, and the answer is: Yes, we can rush your package! FedEx, UPS and the postal service offers options of 'Next Day', '2-3 day' and 5-6 day delivery. This service gives you reliable speed at the expense of economy. The postal and courier rates on rush shipping (5-6 day delivery) is usualy between $5-$10 more than our $4.99 flat rate.

To receive rush shipping:

Before buying the item send us an email first to let us know about your delivery deadline. Please include the item #, your address and zip code.

We will reply to confirm whether or not it will be possible to meet your deadline, and will include the options, suggestions and rates for rush delivery to your address.

Shipping to an alternate address

Requests to ship to an alternate address typically come to us in one of two ways:

"I need the Snowboard pants for my trip to Whistler Ski Resort, but I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be here to receive them. Can you ship them to me at the resort?"

"I'd like to send the items as a gift to my nephew in Lexington..."

For your credit card security we prefer to ship to customers at their 'verified address' which is the same address they receive their credit card bill. Sometimes though it can be a great convenience and service to have items paid by credit card and then shipped to an alternate address.
