Megabrat Young Athlete Support

Shopping at Megabrat.com gives you the best prices, products and quick personal service and now also helps a few terrific children on their way in their sport.

We've chosen to support children in bike sports such as motocross, trials, bmx etc because these sports see active participation in all parts of the country from the snowy north to the arid south, the sports have a tradition of sponsorship down to the grassroots level, and they personify the Megabrat spirit.

How You're Helping the Kids

Your Megabrat.com purchase and visit to the site helps the kids in two ways:

1. A small part of each sale is allocated to athlete sponsorship - we're helping put a bit of gas in the kids' tanks! Only a very small part of each sale goes to sponsorship but over the course of a season the little bits may add up to be a nice help for the kids.

You may chose the athlete from any region that you'd like to have your sale allocated to. Just let us know who you're supporting when you send us your order, otherwise it will go to the athlete representing your region.

If you are a particular fan of an athlete, or impressed with their devotion and would like to do something more to help them, you are certainly welcome to contribute something extra towards that athlete. The athletes get 100% of any additional contributions our customers make.

2. Simply visiting the kids websites we've created for them is a great help too. All the athletes have other sponsors, or are seeking additional sponsors, so increasing exposure for the kids is very helpful to them. Any traffic to their sites helps them. If you have a website please link to your favorite rider's site, tell your friends, bookmark their page or sign their guestbook. All these things can give the kids a big boost!

The Athlete Selection Process

We had only a small number of spots available for sponsorship and reviewed literally thousands of candidates before deciding on the few to be our Official Ultimate Megabrats. To be an Ultimate Megabrat we looked for kids who are very devoted to their sport, regular participants, kids who work hard, try hard, are good sports and all-round nice friendly people that we'd be glad to have as next door neighbors or see our own kids playing with. I just described your child didn't I! We wanted to be sure to sponsor children who are just as wonderful as your child, and just as deserving of the extra attention we can give them too.
